Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse Statistical Process Control (SPC) data for the PCB manufacturing process to proactively capture process deviations before product defects occur.
- Perform hourly physical and visual sampling inspections directly on the processed boards at critical stages to detect defects on time according to IPC-A-600 standards.
- Verify that all cleanroom procedures and environmental controls are strictly implemented and maintained.
- Ensure that manpower is well-trained regarding process compliance, machine operations, and product quality inspection standards.
- Verify that preventive maintenance schedules and machine cleaning protocols are executed.
- Audit and verify compliance with the active Control Plan, ensuring no production runs on unverified lines.
- Collect and evaluate daily production scrap data, identify systemic failure trends, and deliver immediate, actionable feedback to the production team.
- Physically audit and approve the First Article board of every new batch or shift setup to ensure strict alignment with fabrication blueprints.
- Track and ensure that all approved corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are fully implemented on the Production line.
- Manage line validation by pausing production temporarily if process limits are exceeded, securing the line until quality compliance is fully restored.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in PCB Manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of PCB fabrication processes.
- Experience in SPC, CAPA, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and control plans.
- Good understanding of production quality systems and process audits.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
Preferred
- Knowledge of IPC-A-600 and IPC-6012 standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct direct optical and physical sampling audits on assembled boards to verify that all visual and structural quality metrics meet IPC-A-610 & IPC-A-620 standards.
- Conduct random checks on Surface Mount Technology (SMT) lines to ensure correct component types, polarity, and orientation.
- Perform random checks on manual through-hole component placement, hand soldering quality, and mechanical chassis assembly.
- Perform physical and technical verification on the First Article fully assembled board of each batch against the Bill of Materials (BOM) before mass production begins.
- Verify that oven thermal profiles are set correctly and audit solder joints for process defects such as cold solder, bridging, or tombstoning.
- Audit and verify compliance with the Control Plan, ensuring no assembly operations run on unverified or unreleased lines.
- Ensure that all preventive maintenance schedules are executed, machine cleanliness is maintained, and all active assembly equipment is properly calibrated.
- Conduct daily audits on cleanroom cleanliness, SMT line hygiene, machine tooling/nozzle maintenance, and strict adherence to Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protective protocols.
